Just want to share with you a few recent winter photos. These were taken while visiting my parents earlier this month. After almost two weeks of gray cloudy weather, I woke up to the most amazing winter day.
Additionally, I stumbled upon a few inspirational winter quotes. Like this one:
The color of springtime is in the flowers, the color of winter is in the imagination ~Ward Elliot Hour
Here’s another:
While I relish our warm months, winter forms our character and brings out our best ~Tom Allen
And a couple more:
Sometimes our fate resembles a fruit tree in winter. Who would think that those branches would turn green again and blossom. But we hope it. We know it. ~Johann Wolfgang von Goethe
Snowflakes are one of nature’s most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together ~Verna M. Kelly
This one, however, is my favorite:
In the depth of winter I finally learned that there was within me an invincible summer ~Albert Camus
Isn’t that a wonderful thought, that no matter what the outside temperature may be like, we can always carry a summer on the inside.
Take care. L
