Mr Funny Face
Hey mom (yes, you with the camera) – why don’t you forget about those boring trees over there.. and take a look at me instead!

Ok sure, Mr Funny Face, never mind the trees. I can take those pictures another day. What is this anyway; a little touch of spring fever? Hmm.. probably
Furry Funny Fellows
My youngest is a bit concerned about monsters.. I mean, how can he really be sure there isn’t one inside his closet? So I showed him this video .. to take away his worries. After all, everyone deserves to be happy – even monsters!
Enjoy the weekend

Oh No!
My 6 year old has been struggling with his first loose tooth lately. Finally, it came out – and soon another one followed.
From the moment he discovered there was something called the Tooth Fairy, there has been a constant focus on finding more loose teeth..
The other day he hit his foot against a chair, and quickly removed his sock to have a look at the injury.
Then, while giving his foot a close examination, he suddenly exclaims:
Oh no! Now I’ve got a loose toe!
Ha ha.. well, dear mr S – I sure hope not! (the Tooth Fairy isn’t really interested in toes anyway, is she?)
Busy Hands
The kids have been busy helping out with Christmas preparations..
presents for grandparents have been carefully created
and the traditional decorations put up..
Christmas greetings to friends and family..
oh, and not to forget the sweets!
Even Spiderman came by to lend a hand
And this little (violent) fellow.. Bang! And again – bang!
There, perhaps now it’s flat enough..
Mmm.. tastes good, you don’t mind do ya mom? – after all it is Christmas!
The smile of a homemade angel
Looking out the window, waiting for the holidays to arrive.. a special assignment of which this guy is very proud. When the church bells ring on Christmas Eve, he too gets to turn around and join in for the celebration!
The Bear Nessecities
Don’t you just love those contrasts
Here’s another clip from the Peter Jöback concert. Enjoy!
Snowy Village

Inspired by the falling wordpress snow, I found these pictures from one of our traditional Christmas activities; designing and building the Snowy Village. The design and size of the village tend to vary some from one year to another, but the kids always have a lot of fun building it. Not to forget – when Christmas is over – getting to play with it until it’s literally unrecognizable!

Guarding the village gate – with a smile!
Mr Snowman keeping the overview
My personal favorite. Can you blame me for having a soft spot for that piglet?
Dancing in the Rain
It’s not about waiting for the storm to be over. It’s about learning how to dance in the rain
I have a list of things I want to do, or do more of. Dancing in the rain is one of them. Now as we are entering the month of October I know all the colorful leaves out there will soon turn brown and fall to the ground. Tonight there is a minor rainstorm outside, I can hear the rain tapping on the roof right as I am writing. And we know from experience; there is more to come.
This fall I will make myself a promise; to go out into the rain more often, put my head back and feel the raindrops on my face. And remember to dance a little.
Happiness is all about the small things in life.
