A Walk in the Forest
The house will be up for sale soon. Thus, there are quite a few preparations to be done; keeping me somewhat busy these days. But today, I decided to treat myself to a little time with my camera after all.. the weather was just too wonderful to stay inside.

Ah! Finally! What brings more happiness than to stroll along a forest path seeking out (more) signs of spring, while the last snow is melting into water and the sun warms my face..
..and everything is just coming to life around me.
The old giving way to the new.
Hey, look who’s coming over to say hello.. or was it more like “miaooo”
Apparently there’s something up there.
A mysterious shadow..
No need to worry. Just a couple of trees enjoying their moments in the sun.
These are reaching for the warm sunlight as well.
Shine on me
A glimpse of the blue sky. Simply beautiful.
Oh yes. I know. The house. Better go pick up that paintbrush again..
Amazing how time flies when you’re having fun
Like a Sun

A friend said it so beautifully; Like a sun that landed on earth.. Soon there will be thousands of little suns everywhere, blessing my day. Welcome spring!

Mr Funny Face
Hey mom (yes, you with the camera) – why don’t you forget about those boring trees over there.. and take a look at me instead!

Ok sure, Mr Funny Face, never mind the trees. I can take those pictures another day. What is this anyway; a little touch of spring fever? Hmm.. probably
The First Signs of Spring
There has been quite a few days since my last blog post. Among other things, I have spent that time – you guessed it – getting to know my new macro lens a little better. Here are some results.. so far. There will be more to come. I promise.
Melting ice.. almost like diamonds in the sunlight
The moment of rebirth. When everything is frozen and covered with snow, it can be hard to believe that we’ll ever see this sight again. But every year, no matter how long the winter may seem, life is born anew. That is the miracle of spring. It never fails us.

Ice is a true master of art, creating amazing creatures in miniature. Like this one – a bird ready to spread its wings and fly off into the blue sky?
A sitting teddy bear, enjoying the sunshine (this photo really illustrates the importance of enjoying the moment, don’t you think?
)
This one just wants to say a friendly hello!
A detail from a garden chair
But wait, I can do better than that! Closer..
Yep, now we’re talking
wow – this is fun!
More to come..
